The soundtrack to my night, entitled “Sitting Around and Reading”, has only one track, and that track consists solely of rain falling to the ground.
Fall rains are the best, and I’m not just saying that because I have an undying love for the season that is Autumn.
When it rains an indescribable scent lingers in the air, a fresh scent, like the earth is trying to tell us, “Hey, I may look like I’m dying, but I’m not. So don’t worry. Just inhale”.
The trees, although most are devoid of any vegetation, seems to sparkle and glisten and look more alive then ever before.
What little green grass is left before winter officially sets in, glows a vibrant green, like it would during a summer showering, like it’s giving it’s one last hurrah.
I adore Fall rains not because I love the season, as I haveĀ said, but ratherĀ I love the season because of the simple wonders it brings like Fall rains.
