My favorite thing in the world to do is to sit and watch the sun set.
There is a section of shoreline that people rarely go to because of the amount of rocks one must climb on, around and over, but those of us who do make our way over this treacherous mountain know the beauty hidden on the other side.
The litter-free sand isn’t the brilliant white of the Mediterranean, but it is pristine which is, unfortunately, quite the accomplishment for my neck of the woods. The water reflects the sky brilliantly and although it isn’t a shade of green found only in Carnival Cruise ads, the blue is a most stunning blue.
And add the horizon as the sun is sinking down and the array of pastel colors that stretch across the sky, watching a sunset in my little corner of the universe is enough to make me die a happy person.
