I’d like to be the sort of friend that you have been to me, I’d like to be the help that you’ve been always glad to be; I’d like to mean as much to you each minute of the day, as you have meant old friend of mine, to me along the way.
I just spent the past 2 hours making a thousand inside jokes.
Needless to say, but I will say it anyway, it was a very productive and memorable evening and I recommend giving it a whirl for yourself.
:D
What do you say to taking chances?
What do you say to jumping off the edge?
Never knowing if there’s solid ground below,
or a hand to hold
or hell to pay.
What do you say?
One of the secrets of life is that all that is really worth the doing is what we do for others.
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you’ll never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; Never throw out anybody.
Remember, If you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find one at the end of your arm.
That’s your T.T. Can I borrow your T.T.?
Il n’y a qu’un bonheur dans la vie, c’est d’aimer et d’être aimé.
I’m a regular customer at a local coffee shop. I go in and get a BIG Chai Latte and sit with a friend and chat or play a game or two of chess, or both, more days a week than not.
I always love becoming a regular customer somewhere. It’s like you finally reach that point where the place is no longer a store, but a home. And the employees finally reach a point where they are no longer putting on their “work” facades in attempts to keep you coming back, they know you’re going to come back and are just being themselves.
After sleeping through a hundred million centuries we have finally opened our eyes on a sumptuous planet, sparkling with color, bountiful with life. Within decades we must close our eyes again. Isn’t it a noble, an enlightened way of spending our brief time in the sun, to work at understanding the universe and how we have come to wake up in it? This is how I answer when I am asked — as I am surprisingly often — why I bother to get up in the mornings.
My spoon is too big!slackmo: themattsmith:Another week, another Rejected reference.
and on that note…goodnight.
It’s like a real-life Calvin and Hobbes comic. :D
